Our multicultural team is sourcing for new business to develop unique assets and investment opportunities for our clients. We are adding value by expanding the private equity investment model on long-term commodity business in the Western Hemisphere between Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Our vision

We are an investment company to develop long-term assets, commodity supplies and sustainable supply chains. Our approach allows us to control every step of the value chain – from co-investing in promising commodity assets, business development, marketing and trading as well as professional forwarding of our portfolio products directly to the client. Our vision is to become a gateway from Mediterranean and Southern Europe (Italy, Spain and the Balkan states) to Asia (China and South-East Asia) and Latin America (Argentina, Brazil and Chile).

With decarbonization and ESG-related topics becoming main drivers for the global economy, all our services and products already meet the highest ESG requirements. We fulfill all our contracts according to strict international sustainability goals in the whole value chain.

Our lean commodity supply chains are calculated with the lowest emissions possible. We shorten transport routes, set up long-lasting partnerships with sustainable manufacturers and diversify our goods in line with leading European ESG standards.

Marco Carrai was born in Firenze in 1975. He is the Chairman of Toscana Aereoporti Spa and Executive Vice-President of JSW (Italy’s oldest and 2nd largest steel company). He is also Member of the Board of Scienza e Vita San Raffaele University, Lumsa University and Bassilichi SpA. During his successful career, he founded Cambridge Management Consulting Labs , CyS4 (a company for cybersecurity) and CGNAL (analytics and services) . Mr. Carrai is a Council Member of CONSIUSA.


General Director
Mr. Bizzarri has more than 30 years experience in cargo projects with a focus on the global oil and gas industries, garnering unique knowledge of industrial logistics in the energy sector. During his career he has set benchmarks for heavy lifting solutions on behalf of the biggest EPC contractors in the world. After his CEO experience of Creon’s logistics subsidiary, he definitively joined the Creon Group as Italy’s chief representative for Creon Industries Italy.


Alessandro Albano was born in 1988. He is Chairman of the board of Equiter S.p.A. (Advisor and investor in infrastructure and Senior Advisor of PwC S.p.A.. He is also Member of the Scientific Board G.R.P. (Global Risk Profile Due Diligence, Compliance). Since January 2020, he is Board Member of GRUPPO DAMILANO S.p.A. a company that deal with production and marketing of wines and waters.


Jan Wuppermann has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, restructuring and auditing, amongst others as Head of Internal Audit North- and Latin America of a stock-listed packaging corporation and in the establishment of a bank’s M&A department. He completed his vocational training in banking and has a master’s degree in International Business from Maastricht University and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Münster.


Dr. Björn Rappen studied law and graduated in 2002. Afterwards he obtained a doctorate in corporate law. Since then, he has worked in various corporate law firms. Before joining Creon Industries Italy as a director in 2021, he advised as a legal consultant for many years.
